Thursday Night Premieres!
Thursday night TV is back. Personally my DVR is set to Grey’s and Jersey Shore tonight but there is ton’s of new stuff out there! There are just a few and happy DVR-ing
8-9PM CBS, SEASON PREMIERE
The Big Bang Theory: Christine Baranski is back as Leonard’s emotionally distant mother. He didn’t get that way from having a Free to Be…You and Me-type mom.
8-9PM ABC, SERIES DEBUT
Charlie’s Angels: The latest Angels are a thief, a disgraced cop, and a street racer. Which is all completely irrelevant because they’re also way hot.
9-9:30PM NBC, SEASON PREMIERE
The Office: James Spader’s Robert California begins his reign of paper terror.
9-11PM ABC, SEASON PREMIERE
Grey’s Anatomy: Meredith is canned!
10-11PM NBC, SERIES DEBUT
Prime Suspect: Sometimes a lot of talent (in this case, star Maria Bello and exec producers Peter Berg and Alexandra Cunningham) miscalculate the appeal of their own show. That seems to be the case here. Filled to the brim with good actors, from Aidan Quinn as Bello/Jane Timoney’s boss to The Shield’s Kenny Johnson as her boyfriend, Prime is overripe with hard-boiled detectives (and I love hard-boiled detective stories) and renders Jane not a feisty broad to admire, but rather a bullying pain in the ass you’d cross the street to avoid. But I’ll keep watching in hopes that it improves. And sorry about the Prop That’s Key to Your Character school of acting, Ms. Bello, but Jane’s hasn’t-been-hip-in-five-years fedora is really annoying. B- —Ken Tucker
10-11PM FOOD, SERIES DEBUT
Sweet Genius: Pastry guru (seriously, have you seen this dude’s cakes?) Ron Ben-Israel judges a competition for pastry chefs. The winner gets $10,000 which is just about enough to buy a Ron Ben-Israel cake.
NYC Prep: Where are the Parents?
Bravo’s reality show NYC Prep follows the lives of Manhattan’s teens. Think Gossip Girl, but real life, and less cool. The only difference is that something is missing from NYC Prep that is seen in Gossip Girl—-PARENTS! These kids, exactly what they are, the youngest being 15, are running around NYC and partying and “hooking UP”. It drives me crazy that parents are actually letting their kids do this. Maybe it is the NYC mentality of life, but really? My opinion is that these kids are going to grow up spoiled, not friendly, and std infected ignorant.
The show is amusing, but if I can multi- task and watch this show, it can’t be that good. I mean how interesting are rich kids really? “Oh my god, I went to this fashion show” “Omg my God, he is dating her”…blah!
my rating is WAIT FOR THE FICTIONAL GOSSIP GIRL
16 and Pregnant reunion
Seeing how this has aired last week, but I don’t care. I’ve never felt better about myself and being a “good girl”. The 16 and Pregnant: After Labor special hosted by Dr. Drew, was…to say the least…emotional. The only couple I had any respect for was the couple that gave up their baby for adoption. At such a young age, they knew why they had to and are not regretful about it. The other girls all admitted to now using condoms. Really, I mean regardless of your parents talking to you or not, using condom speeches are everywhere. They are on TV, radio, movies, school, everywhere. Are these girls just …stupid…really. Sorry I’m judging. I shouldn’t do that. Mistakes do happen. They all seem like great girls…cough…a little WT(and I won’t explain that term) I really do love Dr. Drew though…he’s soo emotionless…it’s kinda amusing no?
Well I’ve learned one thing from this show
I DON’T WANT TO HAVE A GIRL!
RR: Cancun!!
Has anyone been watching the 102nd new season of MTV’s Real World taking place this year in Cancun, Mexico. What smart producers. What sort of debauchery could young 20 somethings get into in the spring break capital of the world. Well so far, they are just sooo annoying with eachother. None of these “characters” are interesting. No one holds any real background to make their life interesting. I’m waiting for the real fights, the falling in lust, the someone to get kicked out. So far I would give this season a rating of BORE
We never know maybe what is to come will be better than what has come. MY only question is : Why wasn’t I chosen for Real World when I auditioned…I’m more interesting than these MOFO’s.
and PS..can’t they go back to 7 strangers..8 is just too much.
Buble’s Late Night Tour
My future husband has been making his rounds in the late night world to promote his new CD/DVD: MICHAEL BUBLE MEETS MAISON SUARE GARDEN.
He was first on Chelsea Lately and then Craig Ferguson. Both times he was Funny. Not just funny, hilarous. Both times he was dressed beautifully!!! Omg, can you tell I love him??
I found out some interesting things about him though. He is a dual Italian citizen and ..cough..he has a girlfriend. Which I wasn’t happy about.
He is so good, I am amazed by him every time. Here he is on Craig Ferguson:

MTV’s 16 and Pregnant: Lesson learned!

MTV's 16 and Pregnant logo
Has anyone else watched this show on MTV that airs Thursday nights. Ok, MTV, WE GOT IT! BEING PREGNANT AT 16 NOT FUN! Really though this show makes me laugh. You need to check it out. These poor girls and the tools they decided to procreate with. On the last episode Amber and Gary ( White Trash x 10) are expecting a bundle of joy. Of course, they live together because in the south when you get pregnant at 16 you are now an adult and must live on your own. Gary spends money on a PS3 instead of saving (typical) and in the delivery room (hold on I’m laughing still) On her pillow while she is giving birth ( and of course Gary’s head is deep in her crotch) oh back to the pillow…on her pillow..ready for it..again WHILE SHE IS PUSHING: on her pillow is her sidekick..near her head, you know incase that important call comes in! LOL! Seriously I’m giving this show my YOU GOTTA WATCH AT LEAST ONCE rating.

The Newlywed game meets 2009
I have found my new reality game show obsession. ABC’s HERE COMES THE NEWLYWEDS, is fresh, funny, and weirdly enlightening.
1st off, I’ve never seen a reality show that the Host gets interviews as much as the contestants. Pat Bullard, the charming host, always has funny quips and gets a lot more screen time than most hosts, which makes me laugh.
The show has newlyweds playing games weekly to try to earn money in a pot for then one couple to win the money at the end. Every week, one couple is voted off. They can win immunity if they win the challenge, but like clockwork, every week Pat offers the winner’s money in exchange for safety. So far only one couple has taken the money, and low and behold they were voted off.
The show shows the dynamics of each couple now only threw the games they are planning and how well they work together, but threw mini games of “how well you know your spouse” and the interviews they do with each couple. The best part of the show to me is when they are showing the couples interact before bedtime. Some are arguing about who to vote off, some are playing around with each other, some are having marital talks. It is simply amusing and you can compare these couples to your own relationship. Some couples are obviously great together and love each other, others you can say “why did you get married”. They are all newly married and this came is a great experience not just for them and their marriage but for the viewers to watch. Check it out . Monday’s at 10pm on ABC.
