I think I have skipped a few weeks…but whatevs…ok here we go this week’s song obsession.

It comes from the Disney movie ” Enchanted” The name of the song is “So Close” by John McCoughlin and it makes me stop and wish I was in love..then I smarten up…but it’s very romantic and it was nominated for an Oscar. Enjoy!

THE PROPOSAL: A REVIEW BY ME!

Friday night I sat in my movie theatre chair waiting to see a movie I assumed  would be the typical chick flick. Guy and girl fall in love…the end. Sure that happens, it would not be a chick flick without it, but “The Proposal” starring Ryan, Hot Bod, Reynolds and Sandra Bullock, was more than that. 

I see a lot of movies, and this one is one of the best romantic comedies I have seen in awhile. First off, any movie with Betty White has to have some credibility. You throw in Sandra B. with her great comedy timing and Ryan, who is equally hilarious, but also extremely hot and will make any woman drop their undies(not to be vulgar) , all combined you have a hit!

This movie was not all that predictable, at some moments you think he might not end up with her(but honestly it wouldn’t be a romantic movie if that didn’t happen) More than anything else this movie is FUNNY from start to finish. It puts a smile on your face. You watch Sandra’s character go from hardass to hardass in love. Ryan from start to finish is adorable, sarcastic, and he has great chemistry with Sandra.  A must see for women, and guys will equally laugh!!

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2010 honorees and there a few bound to vanish into obscurity!!!!

Below are the honorees for all categories:

Film: Russell Crowe, Adam Sandler, James Cameron, John Cusack, Colin Firth, Alan Menken, Randy Newman, Emma Thompson and Mark Wahlberg and producer Gale Anne Hurd.

TV: Bill Maher, Chris Berman, Jon Cryer, Peter Graves, Jimmy Kimmel, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Sam Waterston.

Recording artists: Ringo Starr, Bryan Adams, the Funk Brothers, Alan Jackson, Chaka Khan, Van Morrison, Marco Antonio Solis, ZZ Top and the late Roy Orbison.
